Meet Your Counselor

Dr. Evelyn Roberts (MSW, LCSW) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of Miles College (Birmingham, Al), where she attained her bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2008, as well as a graduate from The University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) where she attained her master's degree in Social Work in 2014. She went on to pursue her Ph.D. in Social Work from Walden University, specializing in Family Studies and Interventions at completed this degree in 2023. Her journey as a social worker includes working in child welfare, substance abuse, child and family counseling, and community mental health.

I was at first intimidated about sharing my relationship issues, but she did a great job at delving into the context and helping me figure out how to better my communication skills - which is exactly what I wanted from my therapy sessions.
